Is Your Kofax Software Going Out of Support?

If your organization uses Kofax software, you need to know that Kofax recently announced that they will no longer offer support for specific software products. As Kofax platinum level consultants , we would like to share the details of this announcement.
It is worth noting that withdrawal of support for these products is part of Kofax's published policy to maintain only the current version and specified previous versions of its major software products, so version upgrades are available.
The list of affected products includes:
• Kofax Capture 9.0 - 10.1*
• Kofax VRS 4.5 - 5.0
• KTM 5.0 - 6.0
Concerning Kofax Capture 10 and 10.1, Kofax has extended support until August of 2020, but support during this time will be limited. According to Kofax:
"During [the] Limited Support Phase, there will not be any product updates, feature enhancements or documentation additions. Critical defects and OS updates will be addressed on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of the product manager."
Also, while Kofax has not mentioned any extensions to support for KTM 5.0 or 6.0 beyond October, we'll keep our ear to the ground for updates and announcements. If we hear of a change, we’ll be sure to share this news.
