Genus Technologies Selected for Collaborative Enterprise Operations Manual Solution
October 4, 2016
Minneapolis, Minnesota – October 4, 2016 – Genus Technologies, an IBM Premiere partner, today announced it has been selected by a major retailer to design and deliver a collaborative enterprise documentation solution. Specifically, the retailer will use the solution to draft, edit, publish and update its comprehensive operations manual.
With more than 125 stores in 12 states, both corporately owned and franchised, the company’s need for standardized operations policies is critical and requires collaborative contributions from numerous departmental experts across the company.
Using the retailer’s existing IBM infrastructure, the Genus Technologies solution will enable secure collaboration, automatically compile contributions according to their content structure, share editable drafts among authoring resources, and publish approved read-only documents to its workforce based on store type and employee role.
“This project represents a strategic imperative for us,” said the retailer’s chief information officer. “It enables us to use our existing IBM infrastructure to document and share all of our operations knowledge in one centralized repository, and ensures the entire company operates according to the most recent policies”.
This project extends a ten-year relationship between Genus Technologies and this retailer, which began with the successful implementation of a secure intranet portal that simplifies information management across the company.
