Genus Technologies Teams with IBM to Deliver Best-of-Breed Proposal Generation Solution for Global Engineering Enterprise

Minneapolis, Minnesota – December 16, 2016 – Genus Technologies, an IBM Premier business partner, today announced the successful delivery of an advanced digital asset management solution that enables the fast compilation of compelling sales proposals. Genus designed and built the solution for one of the world’s foremost engineering and architectural firms with more than 10,000 employees in 225 locations in the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
“Like so many companies, our customer had valuable content and digital assets such as photos, graphics, illustrations, and even video, stored in separate and disconnected systems,” said Mark LaFrenz, director of customer solutions for Genus Technologies. “This directly prevented their sales and marketing teams from finding and including the company’s most compelling content and assets in their most important documents – their sales proposals.”
Genus Technologies anchored the solution with a single digital asset management (DAM) system to centralize the management of the company’s entire library of digital assets including approved logos, photos, video, stock images, documents, and templates. The DAM integrates seamlessly with Adobe InDesign, the leading page layout software for print and digital publishing. This integration enables users to more efficiently create proposals and other documents using InDesign, by giving them the ability to search the Genus DAM system for the assets they require without leaving InDesign.
